John LaBonty has been appointed the new president of SeaCliff Beauty Packaging & Laboratories. He has a strong background in the cosmetics sector. Prior to joining SeaCliff Beauty, LaBonty was president of LaBonty Consulting Inc., specializing in building and expanding cosmetic brands globally. He has assisted numerous cosmetic brands in both the mass and prestige categories and has built brands in all global regions. LaBonty has also worked as vice president/general manager for the international division of Smashbox Cosmetics and holds extensive mass-market consumer brand experience gained at Procter & Gamble and Tambrands.
